Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your purchase. This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for a paid plan on Reviews by MGS.

Pro-rated refunds for unused time

You can cancel your paid plan at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. If you'd like a refund for the unused portion of that period, contact us within 14 days of the most recent renewal and we'll issue a pro-rated refund.

How to request a refund

1. Cancel your subscription from /dashboard/billing.
2. Email billing@reviews.mgshosting.com with your account email and the date of your last renewal.
3. We'll calculate the pro-rated amount and process the refund within 5 business days.

What's eligible

• Unused time on a Pro or Business plan, within 14 days of renewal.
• Service outages or platform-wide issues that prevented your reasonable use of the Service.

What's not eligible

• Free plan accounts (no payment was made).
• Refund requests made more than 14 days after a renewal.
• Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
• Charges incurred more than one billing period before the refund request.

Payment processor

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. The exact refund time depends on your bank or card provider (typically 5-10 business days).

EU consumer rights

If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive for digital services. You can exercise this right by emailing us within 14 days of your first paid signup. By starting to use paid features within that window, you may waive this right — we'll always honor it for accounts that haven't actively used paid features.

Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider, please contact us — we can almost always resolve refund issues directly and faster than through your bank. Chargebacks issued without prior contact may result in account suspension while we investigate.
